Charlie McAvoy – Boston Bruins Defenseman
We were thrilled to welcome Boston Bruins Defenseman Charlie McAvoy to our Newton, Massachusetts office for a hair transplant. Known for his exceptional hockey skills and genuine personality, Charlie chose Leonard Hair Transplant Associates to address his hair loss. It was a pleasure to work with someone who embodies perseverance and dedication.
Charlie has really made Boston his home. He moved up from Long Island to play college hockey at Boston University and has since become a key player for the Bruins. As he continues to grow in his career, Charlie has stepped up as a leader, proudly wearing the “A” as an alternate captain.
Dr. Lopresti performed the hair transplant procedure by carefully removing a thin strip of skin from the back of Charlie’s scalp. This strip was divided into individual grafts, each containing small groups of hair follicles, which were then transplanted to the thinning areas for a natural and long-lasting result.
Charlie had this to say about his experience: “Dr. Lopresti is a first-class surgeon who breaks the mold of the typical white coat doctor.” We are truly humbled by his kind words and admire him both professionally and personally.
By the way, it’s pretty cool that Charlie was referred to us by his former Boston Bruins teammate and current Columbus Blue Jackets player, Sean Kuraly. Sean is also a valued patient of Leonard Hair Transplant Associates.
If you or someone you know is thinking about a hair transplant, please feel free to reach out. We’re here to help you achieve natural, lasting results, just like we have for Charlie and so many others.
