NHL Network Host Jamison Coyle PRP with ACell Hair Restoration

NHL Network host Jamison Coyle has spent years covering hockey under television lights, where every angle eventually gets its close-up. When he began noticing early hair loss around his temples in his twenties, the former NESN anchor decided he would rather address it early than wait for thinning hair to become part of the broadcast.

Jamison first came to Leonard Hair Transplant Associates in Newton, Massachusetts in 2012. Jamison has made hockey his business. After working as a studio host and reporter at NESN in Boston, including coverage of NESN Daily and Hockey East, he joined NHL Network and became one of the familiar faces across the network’s programming, including its flagship studio show, NHL Tonight. His career has since taken him well beyond the studio, with coverage of the Stanley Cup Final and NHL Draft, and in 2026 he traveled to Milan, Italy to host NHL Tonight’s on-site coverage of men’s hockey at the Winter Olympics. He also played a prominent role in NHL Network’s coverage of the 2026 NHL Draft and NHL free agency.

Long before those assignments, while still working at NESN in Boston, Jamison had begun paying attention to his hair. He regularly heard about Leonard Hair Transplant Associates and decided to have his hair evaluated rather than wait to see how much further his hairline might recede. We both have young kids, similar interests, are both into sports, taking care of ourselves and being the best people we can be,” Jamison said. “Talking to him about next steps was really comfortable and I definitely felt like I was going to be well taken care of.”

PRP with ACell Instead of Hair Transplant Surgery

When Jamison returned for his evaluation, Dr. Lopresti determined that he was a candidate for PRP with ACell, a non-surgical hair loss treatment designed to work with existing hair follicles. PRP with ACell uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from the patient’s own blood together with ACell. Getting There Before Hair Loss Does

Jamison’s experience illustrates why early hair loss and advanced hair loss can lead to very different conversations.
