NeoGraft™ Restoration
At Leonard Hair Transplant Associates, we have spent nearly three decades specializing in hair loss treatments and hair restoration surgery. We strive to serve as innovators and providers of the most advanced technological opportunities for each and every one of our patients. This commitment, along with expert, compassionate patient care, has made Dr. Matthew Lopresti and Dr. Mary Lopresti, and Leonard Hair Transplant Associates leaders in the field of hair restoration.
The NeoGraft™ medical device is a state-of-the-art hair transplantation method that Dr. Matthew Lopresti and Dr. Mary Lopresti can perform. This technology has revolutionized the follicular unit excision (FUE) technique by automating the process to provide our patients with a more efficient, less traumatic harvest of their follicular units.
How Does NeoGraft™ Restoration Work?
The NeoGraft™ uses a tiny surgical punch to extract follicular units from the scalp. Equipped with a multiple-angle extraction tool, the NeoGraft™ is a minimally-invasive technique that applies suction to automatically remove hair grafts from the donor area. Once extracted and collected, the hair grafts are carefully separated by size, and are then ready to be transplanted into the bald or thinning areas on the scalp.
During the NeoGraft™ excision, our patients are often comfortably listening to music or talking with our hair loss surgeons and our professional staff. They are able to sit or stand up, eat and drink, and use the restroom during the process.
During the graft planting portion of the transplant, patients can enjoy music or watch a movie. At the completion of the procedure, their hair is washed and they are discharged to home.
